Job Description
Looking for an individual with good work habits and skills plus an ability to learn with minimal supervision so that they may help disencumber engineers of simpler tasks so that they can concentrate on design and analysis tasks.
Activities:
- Construct prototypes from minimal documentation.
- Test production circuit boards / repair as required.
- Troubleshoot assemblies for mechanical or electrical performance solutions.
- Update documentation.
- Other tasks as might be requested by engineering staff.
- Assist in manufacturing as required.
Skills required:
- Soldering: wiring, PTH and SMT circuit board.
- Electronics:
- Ability to follow schematics with analog and digital circuits.
- Understanding of Ohms law and Watts law.
- Familiarity with modern circuits and components.
- Use of Multimeter and oscilloscope.
- Assembly: experience with hand tools.
Bonus skills and experience:
- Computer aided drafting; SolidWorks or AutoCAD experience.
- Schematic capture editing; PADS.
- FPGA and CPLD programming.
- MAS90 manufacturing accounting system.
- Excel and Word or equivalent.
- Related certification.
