The Shared Services unit has an immediate opening for a customer service and project based individual to join our program in Vacaville. Under the direction of the Shared Services Supervisor, the individual will assist in the daily core functions of the Shared Services program.
Every day will be a new and exciting adventure. Along the way, you will:

  • Coordinate, process, and order the supplies needed for special requests, trainings, events, etc.
  • Maintain inventory of mail and office supplies required
  • Maintain daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly statistics on Shared Services responsibilities, including but not limited to, supply orders, pool car utilization, pool car maintenance cost, printer & copier usage and outage, number of conference room set-ups, food cost and supply request cost
  • Draft and maintain procedures for the various processes in Shared Services
  • Maintain and track supply orders by Program in an effort to gather statistics, measure workload, monitor spend, and recognize trends
  • Set up conference rooms at the request of internal customers, including movement of furniture, and coordination of food and beverages
  • Maintaining and overseeing our fleet vehicles
  • Assisting with mail operations, and ensuring that everyday business is not disrupted

  • Ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with all levels of staff
  • Ability to work as a team with co-workers and management to address and resolve issues
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Working Conditions
State Fund has adopted telework for employees who can effectively perform their essential work functions remotely. However, this is an essential position and telework is not available.
