Job Summary:
About Faces Day Spa & Salon, Maryland's Choice for exclusive day spa services has a current opportunity for a Part TimeSHAMPOO TECHNICIAN, for our Salisbury location. This is a key position that provides friendly and efficient customer service and shampoo functions to all hair service clients, as well as provides laundry and cleaning support to the location. This is an excellent entry position for an individual interested in pursuing a career in the Salon/Spa & Beauty/Wellness Industry.
This position entails:
- Shampooing clients
- Interacting with Hair Stylists to ensure proper hair treatments
- Laundering and stocking the spa and salon with towels and robes
- Maintaining a clean environment in the spa and salon
Requirements:
- Prior salon experience helpful but not required
- Customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required
- Work additional hours (within reason) during peak seasons and when requested
- Must be able to understand, speak, read and write in the English language
- Enjoys working with people
