Job Type: Full-Time/Hourly (Non-Exempt)

Salary Range: $15.00 - $20.00/hour (Based on experience)

Job Overview:

The Settlements Clerk is a full-time position with typical hours on Monday-Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M, as well as overtime when required.

This is a 100% in-person position based in Little Rock, AR.

Essential Functions:

  • Complies with all procedures outlined in Arkansas Equipment Leasing’s Policy Manuals, Department Standard Operating Procedures, FMCSA Regulations, DOT, and OSHA requirements.
  • Analyzes and processes weekly settlements.
  • Communicates with drivers about settlements.
  • Handles driver PM’s for maintenance requests.
  • Uses Microsoft Excel for data entry.
  • Records orders for service.
  • Make accurate reports on purchases, costs, vendors, and charges.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

  • Possesses the ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization, as well as external vendors, customers, and other business contacts.
  • Ability to read materials and identify relevant details, judge accuracy, and appropriateness.
  • Demonstrates and promotes a spirit of cooperation and teamwork throughout the company.
  • Continually looks for ways to improve company processes.
  • Effectively assists and serves other Arkansas Equipment Leasing associates.
  • Continually strives to improve personal performance.
  • Takes an active role in seeking training or other opportunities for growth and development.
  • Maintains and protects confidential personnel and/or corporate information.
  • Possesses excellent problem-solving skills; ability to easily analyze, observe, and prioritize.
  • Ability to seamlessly switch between multiple tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Works in accordance with Federal, State, and Local requirements.
  • Ability to constantly work alertly and safely.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Transportation preferred.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
