Settlement Accountant

Job Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Settlement Accountant in Los Angeles, CA. The Settlement Accountant will manage all financial settlements related to shows, ensuring timely and accurate payments to promoters, vendors, and artists. The Settlement Accountant will work closely with the Finance and Booking department to reconcile show financials, identify discrepancies, and resolve disputes with external and internal stakeholders. The Settlement Accountant will be responsible for preparing pre-settlement as needed. The Settlement Accountant will also prepare and execute night-of-show event settlements. The Settlement Accountant will coordinate, prepare, and settle with third-party buildings and co-promoters. The Settlement Accountant will prepare Post-Show Flash Reports according to Company standards and deadlines. The Settlement Accountant will show cash ordering/handling/reconciliation. The Settlement Accountant will also communicate and coordinate with the local office and accounting team on all finances.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. At least three years of experience in tour accounting, event settlements, or a related field. Extensive knowledge of various financial software and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with rigorous attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills across all levels of management, both internally and externally. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple projects and priorities. High integrity, professionalism, and discretion with confidential and sensitive information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
