Weld tubes and assemblies as required. Usually in tandem with another welder.
Essential Functions
- Set-up workstation for the job using a Jib Crane
- Weld tubes and assemblies according to work orders as well as small weld tacks
- Use hand power tools as required, most frequently a grinder and needle chipper
- Use hand Plasma Machine.
- Check work according to work orders
- Use and inspect Jib crane each shift
- Send work to next station and set-up for next job
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to lift/push/pull/bend up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, climb and walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment in all types of temperatures
- Must be able to read Blueprints
- Must be knowledgeable of safety standards or willing to learn and adhere to
- Must be able to use protective equipment including but not limited to ear protection, steel toe shoes, safety glasses and/or goggles, hard hat, welding PPE, job appropriate gloves and face shield when grinding
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a 2G MIG weld test on steel. We build to AWS D.1.1 Code.

- Must be dependable with good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Must be able to reliably commute to work location
- General Production hours – Note: Overtime is a common part of production
- First Shift: 5:30am to 4pm (M – Th)
- Second Shift: 4pm to 2:30am (M-Th)
