Edmonson Electric, a division of IES Residential, is seeking a Service/Warranty Technician.
A Service Tech will correct any warranty issues that arise from the construction of new homes.
Responsibilities of a Service/Warranty Technician:
- Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Ensuring homeowner calls are met in a timely manner
- Complete all work at homeowners homes in a neat and workmanlike manner.
- Responsible for correcting any issues for homeowners that are listed on their work ticket.
- Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timeliness of calls in regards to homeowners schedule.
- Ensuring all homes we enter are left clean of all debris, material etc from our warranty call
- Ability to navigate situations with homeowners and deescalate situations with regard to frustration of call etc.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Electrical trade knowledge for all aspects of residential electric.
- Ability to read prints and scale to ensure placement of fixtures, receptacles, switches, etc.
- Previous experience in all phases of residential electricity.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time.
- Must have clean driving record.
