Includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping, sometimes in a shop structure. Includes craft & non craft labour as well as manager roles responsible solely for these activities. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Responsibilities:
The Services Specialist-Technical Records Management demonstrates leadership in identifying and then resolving issues that inhibit our business from achieving our business goals. In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to review records involving Commercial Jet Engine Maintenance history's, identify gaps and manage to closure to meet business goals.
- Develop enhanced records review processes that reduce cycle time while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Capture best practices in Records Management across assigned product lines and customer base.
- Work with program managers to ensure all assigned record packages are reviewed, closed and uploaded on time.
- Create & drive a culture of Records Management excellence within the business across all functions
- Ensure the smooth transition of the tools and best practices across other team members.
- Set up, track, and analyze the performance results of our global Records Analyst. Identify negative trends.
- Utilize problem solving skills to identify solutions to negative trends and then execute on approved solutions.
- Provide monthly reports outs of CSA records program to the broader team and a quarterly review with Senior Mgt.
- Ensure all records calculations are entered into the businesses ERP system in a timely manner.
- Abide by all GE and local policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 3+ years of aviation Records Management experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of aviation Records Management experience).
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 5% of the time globally for onsite engine records inspection.
Desired Characteristics:
- Prior Technical Records management experience is preferred
- Experience in Commercial Jet Engine Records Management
- Previous Quality Control and or FAA Regulation experience
- Six Sigma training is preferred (GE employees only)
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
