UI/UX Designs
Qualifications:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, product managers, and UI/UX designers, to gather requirements and translate them into effective portal designs.
- Develop and customize ServiceNow portals, pages, widgets, and components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ServiceNow's scripting capabilities.
- Create visually engaging UI designs, including wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, that align with best practices and user-centered design principles.
- Implement responsive and adaptive designs that provide a consistent and optimal experience across various devices and screen sizes.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to ensure that the visual design and user experience are seamlessly integrated into the development process.
- Work on enhancing portal navigation, accessibility, and user interactions to improve overall usability and user satisfaction.
- Integrate data from various sources and ServiceNow modules to provide users with relevant and accurate information through the portals.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to identify areas for improvement and iterate on portal designs and functionalities.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design patterns to continuously enhance the UI/UX offerings of ServiceNow portals.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Web Design, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or Portal Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ServiceNow portal and UI/UX development work.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
- Experience with ServiceNow portal development and Service Portal widgets.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow's UI/UX design patterns and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement complex UI designs while maintaining performance and responsiveness.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple development projects and tasks concurrently while meeting deadlines.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide) and integration capabilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma is advantageous.
