We have an opportunity for a ServiceNow Architect to join our talented team. This is a 100% remote position. The architect shall lead the development of technical architecture, approach, design of the system as well as ensuring developers are building the application to standards. Also, leading the investigation of legacy system data, design new data models, develop the data migration plan and guide the data migration process. The candidate shall also consider all the requirements and implement a flexible and scalable data model that can accommodate future changes and growth of the data. This position requires a full-time commitment.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring, performing peer code reviews, and ensuring the ServiceNow team follows software development best-practices
- Preparing and presenting client facing and internal deliverables that are technology related
- Translating business requirements into detailed technical designs that represent actionable development tasks
- Collaborating with System Administrators and ServiceNow Support concerning strategies and technical aspects of platform upgrades
- Overseeing major version upgrades and installing patches
- Designing and developing solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include new or modifications to applications, forms, workflows/flows, policies, actions, access control, interfaces and any other configurations required to support client processes
- Providing advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes and performing root cause analysis
- Providing operational support for Management Information Systems (MIS)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- 6+ years of hands on experience as ServiceNow Architect
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certification
- Proven experience as the lead technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments.
- 6+years of ServiceNow Development experience
- Experience leveraging MID Servers for integration and automation
- In-depth understanding of database structure principles
- Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
- Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
- Experience with front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
- Experience with custom REST/SOAP APIs (webservices)
- Experience with interfacing with systems inbound/outbound
- Experience with leading and managing developers
- Must be eligible to meet government eligibility requirements including public trust clearance
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
