Job Title: Service Technician
Schedule: 8:00 – 5:00 Monday - Friday with weekend on call rotation
Hourly Compensation with standard benefits
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:The Vending Service Technician is responsible for maintenance and repair of all MBG cold drink equipment to maximize customer satisfaction and sales. Performs preventive and quality maintenance checks in addition to maintain various records and reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Diagnosis and repair of coolers, fountain, vending, and all other dispensing equipment at MBG accounts
- Service that is in compliance with MBG, federal and state standards
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to professionalism at MBG accounts
- Management of instruments, (tools, supplies, keys) necessary for job
- Receive work orders and perform repairs on equipment
- Work on vending machines and cold boxes
- Work on fountain dispensers, coffee machines and tea dispensers
- Work extended hours as needed
- Any duties deemed necessary by management
- Ability to pass a physical examination
- Have and maintain excellent driving record
- Must be able to move heavy equipment that weighs in excess of over 150 lbs.
- Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays when on-call
- Experience in using handcarts and stair-climbers to move heavy equipment is preferred
- Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis
- Knowledge of basic mechanical skills
- General knowledge of electricity refrigeration field
- Type 1 Refrigeration license required - or obtain license within 3 months of hire date
