This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.
Position Summary:
The Service Technician Trainee will learn how to install and/or repair cold drink and/or fountain equipment. This position performs mechanical services on cold drink and/or fountain equipment.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Assist with installations, removals and relocations of cold drink and/or fountain equipment
- Assist with repair of cold drink and/or fountain equipment
- Maintain and complete required paperwork, such as work tickets, parts list etc.
- Provide quality customer service
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Bend and twist frequently to complete job functions
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
- 0 to 6 plus months of Service Technician experience (i.e., general construction, electrician, auto mechanic, repairs or other mechanical areas)
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with mobile device technology
- Valid driver’s license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
- Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical and/or have a valid DOT Medical Card
- Willingness to work flexible hours/shifts including nights and weekends as needed
- Willingness to work flexible hours/shifts including nights and weekends as needed
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb and lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to handle exposure to all temperature changes, high noise levels, and safely working around moving equipment
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- HS Diploma/GED
- Beverage industry experience
- Equipment repair experience
- Distribution and/or Supply Chain experience
