- Refrigeration, mechanical and electrical testing, troubleshooting and repair of all types of marketing equipment.
- Troubleshooting and repairing of sealed and cassette type refrigeration units to include compressors, vacuums and recharging.
- Repairing/rebuilding of refrigeration systems including the proper handling of refrigerants to meet EPA standards.
- Clear and accurate record keeping including parts usage and inventories, refrigerant recovery usage, etc.
- Proper disposal and recycling of parts and equipment with associated record keeping.
- Must maintain satisfactory recertification with OEM standards.
Basic Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge required.
- Able to pass OEM certification tests.
- Ability to train others in all aspects of refrigeration
- General knowledge of computers and keyboarding
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs to 50lbs continually throughout shift.
- Must maintain safe work habits and housekeeping.
- Ability to effectively communicate with their manager.

Required Experience:
- Working with electrical systems (understanding flow, wiring, outlet, etc.)
- Working with mechanical systems (experience with mechanical concepts, troubleshooting and repairing appliances, basic hold repair of plumbing, electrical components, operating hand and power tools)
- Working with basic refrigeration systems (understanding refrigeration cycle, refrigerants, compressors, evaporators, condensers, etc.)
- Working with moving equipment (forklifts, hand trucks, etc.)
- 1-3 years of refrigeration systems experience
