Service Technician II
Full-Time; FTE 1.0
2nd Shift, 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Muscatine, IA
This position performs various repair and preventative maintenance tasks under general supervision. Has knowledge in a field of specialization in the skilled trades categories or is a well rounded generalist. This position will work rotating weekends and holidays. Must utilize good communication and customer relation skills.

· Under general supervision installs, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance on a wide variety of mechanical systems, electrical equipment or systems, or plumbing systems.
· Assist with snow removal.
Minimum Requirements

Education:
High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Diploma or certificate from a two year technical school, junior college, or recognized equivalent correspondence course in an area of specialization such as HVAC, electrical, electronics, or mechanical equipment, technology, or other applicable skilled trade.
Experience:
1 year working in the maintenance and/or repair field.
Two or more years working in the healthcare maintenance field.
License(s)/Certification(s):
Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions. Must demonstrate the ability to learn to solve moderately complex problems under general supervision and learn job duties. Must demonstrate the ability to utilize blue prints, schematics, measuring and testing equipment to solve problems and to verify proper functioning and operation of equipment, systems, or facilities.
