Edmonson Electric a division of IES Residential is currently seeking a Service Technician for the Fort Myers, FL area!
Service Tech will correct any warranty issues that arise from the construction of new Multi-family and Single-family homes.
Responsibilities of a Residential Service Tech:
- Ensuring timeliness of calls in regard to homeowners schedule.
- Ensuring all homes we enter are left clean of all debris, material etc from our warranty call
- Ability to navigate situations with homeowners and deescalate situations with regard to frustration of call etc.

- Electrical trade knowledge for all aspects of residential electric.
- Ability to read prints and scale to ensure placement of fixtures, receptacles, switches, etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time.
- Must have clean driving record.
