Position Summary: Execute both mechanical and electrical repairs to Fanuc robots and other industrial equipment, equipment troubleshooting, provide technical phone support, maintain a professional relationship with customers while meeting company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide the following system troubleshooting needs: wiring, PLC, HMI, robot logic/path programming, networking, mechanical;
- Complete accurate and detailed service reports;
- Assist in field start-up and customer training when necessary (i.e., travel);
- Assist in-house customer service support (i.e., training, phone, service calls);
- Uphold company quality objectives and play an active role in reaching continuous improvement objectives; and
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience / Skills:
- High attention to detail and quality;
- Ability to plan and execute daily and weekly scheduled tasks;
- Ability to keep work area clean and organized;
- Ability to follow directions from peers;
- Excellent team player with organizational and time management skills;
- Safely operate fork trucks and overhead cranes;
- Technical degree in similar engineering field desired;
- Machine programming (PLC/HMI) experience (i.e., Rockwell, GE);
- Safety system programming and troubleshooting experience;
- Network programming and troubleshooting experience;
- Robot programming experience (Fanuc or ABB);
- Experience in robotic material handling;
- Experience in robotic welding (MIG, TIG, Laser, or Spot) preferred;
- Ability to interact and communicate with end-user customers;
- Ability to accurately log labor time and materials for service projects;
- Ability to generate quotations for service work to submit to customer;

- Educational, training and experience requirements may be modified at the management team’s discretion.
Nonessential Skills and Experience:
- Safety (OSHA, SDS), ANSI (RIA) standards.
