SERVICE STATION ATTENDANT II (PC-531)
Summary of Duties:
Under the direct supervision and direction of the Vehicle Dispatching Supervisor, supervises and participates in checking, servicing, and attending to fleet as well as subsidized vehicles. The incumbent follows oral and written instructions, rules, regulations and policies of management.Example of Duties:
- Supervises and participates in issuing gas and oil, checking radiator coolant, battery water and tire air pressure, tire and tube repairs, and in any other tasks that are related to the servicing, care and attending of automotive vehicles.
- Prepares work orders, plans sequence of operations for specific types of work to be
accomplished by the segment and assigns such work according to priority order. - Conducts inventory of gasoline, issue slips, element assigned equipment and orders oil;
maintains records of gasoline and oil issue receipts.
Training and Experience:
Experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to show competence in Service Station Attendant work.License Requirement:
State of Hawaii Driver's License, Type 3
Knowledge of:
Common practices, tools, material and equipment used in servicing automotive and other motorized equipment; occupational hazards and precautionary measures applicable to the work.
