Vigilante Kitchen is a new restaurant coming to Midtown Detroit! Vigilante Kitchen provides an elevated dining experience featuring Midwestern food with Asian influence and classical French roots.

Our front-of-the-house team is responsible for creating an enjoyable experience throughout the entire time frame within the establishment. We strive to perfect hospitality within each role practiced. As we believe, while not taking ourselves too seriously, that our food and atmosphere is deserving of the utmost respect. Pay rates vary depending on position and experience

Essential Requirements:

· Minimum 1+ year of serving experience, preferably in a high volume or fine dining setting

· Must be supportive of the entire team

· Must come to work with a positive attitude with a desire to learn

· Must be willing to be always both mentally and physically present

· Must be punctual

· Must be flexible to constantly changing business demands

· Must have the ability to follow and execute steps of service

· Ability to maintain menu knowledge and communicate it

· Must prioritize our guest

· Must have a passion for hospitality

Job Responsibilities

· Be in complete uniform. Personal appearance guidelines must be adhered to.

· Ensure promotional materials are clean, in good repair and checked before each meal period and maintained throughout service.

· Ensure China, glassware and silverware is clean, spotless and unchipped.

· Be knowledgeable about products, and knowledgeable about all specials and promotions.

· Suggest specific drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts at each opportunity.

· Adhere to tray service.

· Follow correct cash handling procedures quickly and efficiently.

· Serve and clear food and beverages.

· Participate in all assigned pre-shift and post-shift training.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
