Service Porter

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Service Porter. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is looking to kick-start their career in the automotive industry. This position has the ability to grow into future roles, such as Service Advisor. As a Service Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department and maintaining the overall cleanliness of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist service customers by greeting them upon arrival and directing them to the appropriate service advisor.
• Ensure that customers receive their vehicles from technicians promptly and efficiently.
• Assist the Facility Manager as needed to ensure all vehicles for sale on the lot are clean and well-maintained.
• Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles by performing tasks such as washing, vacuuming, and detailing. Confirm that customer vehicles are returned to the customer at least as clean as when they arrived.
• Keep customer-facing areas of the service department clean and organized at all times.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks around the dealership as needed.
• Uphold company standards for professionalism and customer service at all times.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
