JOB SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Service Parts Runner is responsible for picking up parts from suppliers and delivering them to UDA or the dairy. They also load parts at UDA for delivery to the dairy or Service Technicians. Additionally, the associate assists with receiving, labeling, and organizing parts, as well as conducting monthly cycle counts and yearly inventory. They play a role in maintaining a clean and organized shop and warehouse area. Moreover, they load parts and equipment onto service trucks and trailers for Service Technicians, ensuring proper documentation accompanies each shipment.
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm (no weekends)
PAY: $18-$22 hourly

QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills & Abilities:
- General knowledge of mechanical and instrumentation equipment.
- Ability to operate fork truck.
- Ability to operator 10-speed transmission.
- Must be able to work 8-10-hour shifts.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Requires ability to read, hear, speak, and comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions.
Experience:
- Knowledge of the fork truck operation.
- Basic computer and math skills.
Education/Certifications:
- High School Diploma or Educational Equivalent.
- Must have clean driving record.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit and drive a forklift frequently.
- Requires ability to safely operate equipment.
- Requires ability to visually observe the condition of surroundings.
- Requires ability to hear and speak; and frequently hear and speak in very noisy environments.
- Requires ability to walk and stand for 10 or more hours at a time.
- Requires ability to push and pull items occasionally more than 55lbs including 55-gallon drums.
- Requires ability to stoop, bend, reach, lift and carry items between 20 and 55lbs often.
- Requires ability to push and pull items occasionally more than 55lbs.
- Requires ability to climb ladders and stairs of various heights including elevations of 15ft or more.
- Requires ability to climb ladders and stairs of various heights including floors of 100ft or more.
- Requires ability to work in varying extreme hot, cold, and wet temperatures and conditions.
- Requires ability to occasionally pushing and/or pulling items from 100lb to 300lbs with assistance.
- Requires ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver products to dairies.
- Pull parts for Service Techs and dairies
- Receive and pull product into inventory and stock in appropriate locations.
- Understand and oversee products carried in warehouse inventory and assist customers as needed.
- Perform general site maintenance duties and clean and maintain warehouse.
- Wash company vehicles.
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly forklift inspections & maintenance as required by OSHA.
- Adhere to all municipal, state, and federal regulatory compliance, reporting any nonconformity.
- Adhere to all SOP's and HACCP guidelines.
- Adhere to all UDA Safety, Quality, and GMP policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity.
- Other operational duties as required
