Service - Parts

In collaboration with the Service Manager. The Part Sales position keeps the part information up to date in the Epicor system. The Part Sales oversee parts and sales growth within the company by setting up new vendors and create PO’s for dropship. Part Sales will assist customers with troubleshooting and repairing of generators based on symptoms received via telephone or email. The Part Sales position will support customers with engine troubleshooting as well as electrical generator end troubling shooting. The Part Sales position will treat customers with complete dignity and respect. Help provide prompt and accurate feedback to the organization on improvements. The Part Sales position will be involved in providing continuous training initiatives to improve our service network’s capabilities.

This role interacts with internal staff in all departments as necessary.

Provide excellent telephone skills – customer oriented and pleasant to work with

Execute perfect working knowledge of generators and generator design, basic electricity and electrical wiring

Working knowledge of troubleshooting diesel and spark ignited engines

Ability to organize and submit completed paperwork

Back up to other service department duties

Order parts for warranty claims

Knowledge of ERP System

Identify part numbers and familiar with looking up parts

Other duties as assigned
