Summary
The Service Coordinator coordinates and supports the service department by being a liaison between Technicians, Service Manager, Sales Department, and Customers. This position is also responsible for ensuring that service quotes and orders are accurately prepared and entered into the TriNova database and acknowledged by the appropriate parties, and ensuring that Field Technicians are deployed to work-sites in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Mobilize field technicians for turnaround jobs, including site-specifics and travel & lodging arrangements.
- Quote preparation, order processing, and invoicing as necessary.
- Scheduling/dispatching Technicians to various jobs.
- Compile and provide job specifications to technicians.
- Support Technicians during field service activities.
- Liaise with Service Managers regarding filed items needed and issue project specific input.
- Support the customer billing process and ensure all expenses are properly accounted for.
- Contact customers for repeat service work.
- Work with all TriNova Service and Sales Team members to achieve TriNova Service Goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to work cooperatively with people at all levels and from diverse backgrounds with respect.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new computer software and database programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
- Database management skills
- Knowledge of Safety, Health, and Environmental Standards a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly organized.
- Adaptable to fast paced, shifting work environment with a willingness to remain flexible to changing business conditions and work requirements.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of previous related experience preferred
