ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Primary accountability for specific functions and results)
1. Providing quality customer service is an essential component of every position within Giant/Martin's Food Stores. Each position serves its own group of customers, which may consist of consumers, co-workers, vendors and business associates. As much care should be given to handling our internal "customers", as the ultimate consumer.
2. Provide exceptionally friendly and courteous customer service.
3. Must dress according to company policy and maintain a neat, clean appearance at all times.
4. Place grocery items in bags and bags in customer's cart. This activity involves lifting to 20 lbs. continuously and to 50 lbs. occasionally.
5. Load purchases into customer's automobile.
6. Move empty carts to proper area.
7. Maintain front end, vestibule, porch and parking lot areas to be free of debris, trash and clutter.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist cashier with price checks.
2. Move empty bottles from front end to back room area.
3. Sweep floor during store hours.
4. Other duties as assigned by management.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $11.50 per hour
