Service & Lube Technician
Job Description:
Tryon Auto Repair is a fast-growing auto repair facility. We are always working toward professionalism and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a passionate person who wants to grow with us in our company. Currently we are seeking a Service And Lube Technician with experience whose responsibilities will include preparing detailed vehicle service reports, replacing components (such as batteries, wiper blades and other parts as needed), changing motor oil and other vehicle fluids as needed.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Valid drivers license
- A positive attitude, professional appearance and demeanor, and a willingness to get the job done
- Strong communication skills with both clients and team
- Willing to learn and receive constructive criticism
Job functions:
- Test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly
- Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined
- Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, giving tune-ups, and rotating tires
- Inspect and top off fluid levels
- Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads
- Use testing equipment to ensure that repairs and maintenance are effective
- Adjust brakes, replace brake rotors and pads, and make other repairs on brake systems
- Maintain shop and work area clean and organized
- Other tasks as assigned
Skills:
- Detail oriented
- Good manual dexterity and hand eye coordination
- Communication skills
- Ability to license and operate motor vehicles
- Ability to properly use mechanical hand tools
- Time management
Schedule:
Monday to Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Only 5 days a week and 9 hours a day). Schedule is determined by the supervisor during the interview process.
Salary:
Potential to earn from $12 to $16 an hour. Salary to be discussed with the applicant during the interview process. Bonus opportunities available.

- 50% discount in labor and a 15%-20% discount in parts
- PTO (Number of days depends on experience and time with company)

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation depends on your experience.
