Server/Waiter

Join Our Team as a Server at Goolsby's!

Our restaurant is located just outside of Aggieville, in the heart of Manhattan, KS. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals like you to join our team as Servers! The applicant must be able to be on site through the summer and be able to work weekends!

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Guide guests through our menu, offering recommendations and taking accurate orders.
• Ensure timely and efficient service by delivering service promptly.
• Provide attentive and personalized customer service to enhance the overall dining experience.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests or inquiries.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including table setup and preparation.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to create a positive and cohesive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and processing payments.
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including alcoholic beverages, is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and limited holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $8.00 per hour
