Server/Food Runner

Dolsot House is expanding and opening a new restaurant DOLSAN Korean BBQ & Sushi in Mt. Laurel, NJ in February 2024. We are looking for experienced Servers and Food Runners and have 2 openings left (part-time and full-time available).

Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
- Answer questions about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed

Skills:

- Previous experience working in high-end restaurants is a plus

- Knowledge of Korean and Japanese cuisine is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for accurate order taking and cash handling
- Ability to handle multiple tables and requests simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order taking and delivery

Note: Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred.
