Cafe Del Rio is looking for a Servers and Bartender to join our team. We are a small, family-owned restaurant in Beaumont, TX. Our Bartenders are responsible for providing excellent service to our guests through food and beverage service and bar knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter and provide helpful advice when they leave
• Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages including mixing drinks
• Take orders, pay attention to details, and follow instructions
• Answer questions about ingredients, ingredients costs, and special requests
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including the glass storage and wiping down of tables and glasses when necessary
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Knowledge of cocktail menu is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and hard liquor serving is a plus
• Knowledge of craft beer or knowledge of beer or wine or knowledge of winemaking is a plus
• Knowledge of wine making is a plus
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
• Knowledge of Beaumont, TX food menu is a plus
• Flexibility to work during our peak season (May-October)

Skills:

• Great attitude with a positive attitude being customer service focused in all aspects of life. This includes great communication skills with the ability to speak clearly at events with large groups.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. This includes working as part of a team that serves large groups at times during peak season.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends (May - October) as needed. Our busy season runs from April through October. We close on the weekends during this time so there are no late nights or early mornings. We close at 8:30pm on Sundays so there are no late nights or early mornings. Our closing shift lasts about 3-4 hours but there are no late nights or early mornings. These shifts are not 8 hour shifts but 4-5 hours so there are no 8 hour shifts (you will be awake for the first half). The hours can be flexible but you will be awake for most of the shift so it's not 8 hour shifts but 4 (you will be awake for most of the shift). Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
