Server/Barista

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista / Server to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee and beverages. You will also be responsible for taking food orders along with other drink orders. If you have a passion for coffee and serving customers, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and alcohol beverages
- Take customer drink & food orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences

- Prepare orders for in house and to go / take out
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food safety standards are met
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints
- Upsell additional products or menu items to increase sales

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of retail math and basic math skills for cash handling
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.61 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 38 per week
