Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or special requests
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Handle cash and credit card transactions using a POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area
Experience:
- Previous experience in fine dining hospitality and restaurant industry is preferred
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and provide efficient service
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards
- Experience using OpenTable or other reservation management systems is beneficial
REQUIREMENTS:
- Wine knowledge from France and California is a plus.
- Based in San Francisco, CA
- Comfortable working all positions of the restaurant regularly to facilitate service including hosting, taking orders, expediting food, clearing tables and supporting in the kitchen when necessary.
- Fine dining experience preferred
- Toast POS acknowledgement preferred
- Strong teamwork skills
- Personable and eager to provide an excellent customer service
- Efficient with time management
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide prompt responses to inquiries

Tuesday through Saturday | Holidays may be required

Shift will start between 4:30pm and 5pm and finish 9:30/11pm depending on schedule_
Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting trays or heavy items. Additionally, availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
