We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your primary duties will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Enter orders into the POS system (e.g., Aloha POS) for processing
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a prompt and courteous manner
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Prepare bills and process payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, utensils, and dining area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting is preferred
- Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems (e.g., Toast POS)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Experience with reservation management platforms (e.g., OpenTable) is a plus
