Job Description
A good server needs to have a positive attitude at all times and be able to maintain that attitude in any situation. Our goal is to be busy. When our restaurant is busy, we all make money. Being busy is not an excuse to not be friendly or forget to smile and acknowledge the guests
Servers have a high understanding of the technical interrelationship between kitchen and dining room, food delivery etiquette, and dining room traffic patterns as well as a strong understanding of our cycle of service. Servers are accountable for all technical aspects of service.
Ideal Traits:
- Experience working in an upscale, fast-paced, and high-energy atmosphere.
- Enjoy being detail-oriented and have excellent time management skills.
- Able to take constructive criticism, quick-witted, and have the desire to constantly strive for excellence.
- Prior experience in Japanese restaurants.
