As a Server Assistant at the Shore Room, you will be asked to curate and execute high level cocktails and provide exemplary service to local and visiting guests. You will perform every aspect of service and hospitality, going beyond the classic scope of bartending.

Service Expectations:

• Provide warm, humble and knowledgeable service throughout the property
• Liaise with restaurant and outlet operations staff to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Positive attitude with initial greetings of guests

• Strictly adhere to all alcohol safety requirements and ID checking procedures
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and flexible, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
• Ability to listen, communicate, and make connections with locals, guests, & colleagues

Qualification:

• 1+ years of related food, beverage with an emphasis on cocktail and ingredient preparation
• RBS & food handlers certified
• Basic knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beer & wine
• Basic restaurant food knowledge
• Be hyper-aware of guest perception & interactions
• A person of integrity; fair and consistent
• Ability to work collaboratively across the organization, and help foster a good working environment
• Ability to work cleanly and quickly in a fast passed environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely and successfully with federal, state, and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk actively for 8 hours
• Ability to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height
