Server Assistant

SUMMARY

A passionate hospitality driven individual who understands how to deliver an above and beyond service experience to all High Bank Distillery guest. This position requires knowledge of, food, beverage, and steps of service. A polished appearance and ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment is also required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the front of house team by running food throughout the restaurant

• Capable of supporting the front of house team by bussing tables and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room

• Work to keep the expo area of the kitchen stocked and orderly

• Ability to learn how to properly garnish food items

• Positive proactive approach to guest service, comfortable interacting with guests as needed

• Ability to remain calm under pressure

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment

• Knowledgeable about food and beverage

• Professional communication skills

• Execution of all beginning and end of shift duties

• Ability to multi-task

• High level of awareness and the ability to understand what tasks are most important in different scenarios

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment can be loud and busy. There are many kitchen hazards such as hot surfaces and liquids, sharp knives, and slippery floors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is required to stand for long periods as well as walk, bend and stoop. The position requires working taste buds, ability to smell, feel with fingers and visually inspect, including close and distance vision. The position requires the ability to use arms, hands and manipulate fingers to reach. The position requires the ability to lift up to 100#
