Seo Strategist

As an Experlogix SEO Strategist, you will be reporting to our Director of Demand Generation and will be primarily responsible for evaluating search trends and assist in the development of webpages and content that improve organic rank for the desired keywords. You will focus on improving the domain authority within search engines to increase our visibility, our digital footprint, and brand awareness.
Responsibilities:

• Track, report, and analyze website analytics and organic search performance
• Review quarterly content development plans to ensure planned content will improve website visibility
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
• Stay informed on changes in Google algorithm and implement SEO recommendations
• Serve as a member of the editorial team to review and optimize content for search engine marketing
• Research and analyze competitor advertising strategies and content
• Review new and existing content for clustering and conversion opportunities
• Develop backlinking strategy to strengthen domain authority
• Collaborate with the Webmaster to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords

Required Skills:
A strong understanding of how SEO and Content can be used to deliver on company goals
A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience in an agency or in-house setting
Strong working knowledge of analytics and keyword research tools
Thorough understanding of organic search techniques and Google algorithm
Solid expertise in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Hubspot, WordPress and other SEO tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; know how to articulate complex, technical concepts in a concise manner
The ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to dive into the details while also seeing and assessing the big picture
A strong understanding of all SEO best practices, including how to execute keyword research, SEO copywriting, the development of backlink strategies, and data analysis
