Position:SEO Specialist
Location: Lincoln, NE
Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
About the Role: As an SEO Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the online presence and visibility of the law firm to effectively reach and assist clients seeking legal help. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement strategic SEO initiatives that drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and ultimately increase the firm's online visibility and client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify relevant terms and phrases related to veteran benefits legal services.
- Analyze keyword competitiveness, search volume, and trends to optimize content for maximum visibility.
- Optimize website content, including landing pages, blog posts, and service pages, for targeted keywords and user experience.
- Implement best practices for meta tags, headers, URLs, and internal linking structure.
- Plans, recommends and assists in the execution of SEM campaigns across various platforms, such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media advertising, to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
- Perform regular audits of the website to identify technical SEO issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Address crawl errors, broken links, site speed issues, and other technical factors that impact search engine visibility.
- Identify topics and themes that resonate with the target audience and support our SEO objectives.
- Monitor website performance using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Track key metrics, such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates, and provide regular reports and insights to the marketing team.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO.
- Proactively identify new opportunities and strategies to improve our SEO efforts and maintain our competitive edge.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a SEO Specialist or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with legal industry trends is a plus.
