The Opportunity:
As an SEO Lead, you will be at the forefront of amplifying our organic reach. In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead the development and execution of our SEO strategies, collaborating closely with a multifaceted team including designers, marketers, data scientists, and engineers. Your mission will encompass leading strategic cross-functional projects, refining our workflows for maximum efficiency, and ensuring impactful outcomes. We're looking for a contrarian thinker who views SEO beyond what is common knowledge. You should be an original thinker. You come with the fundamentals of what goes into SEO but you're excited to look for new opportunities where others do not see.
How you will contribute to TrueCar's success:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with company objectives, market trends, and best practices.
- Conduct continuous keyword research and content strategy refinement.
- Perform comprehensive audits on client sites to pinpoint optimization avenues, aligning with SEO best practices.
- Propose website architectural adjustments, content enhancements, and linking strategies to bolster search visibility.
- Set clear, measurable objectives to track organic performance enhancements.
- Analyze data and trends to optimize SEO campaign ROI and adjust strategies accordingly.
Your Expertise:
- Proven history in implementing scalable programmatic SEO strategies
- Comprehensive knowledge of SEO project management, encompassing on-page, off-site, and content strategies
- Analytical down to a single percentage point
- You live to see your work have an impact on revenue
- Proficiency in web development languages including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- An innovative mindset with a penchant for conducting experiments, prioritizing, and rapidly implementing successful tests
- Expertise in SEO tactics that go beyond "best practices"
- Exceptional communication, time management, and writing skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail
- Adept at leveraging SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, SEMRush, and Screaming Frog is a plus
- Exposure to broader marketing disciplines and digital channels is a plus
Base salary range: $96,000 - $147,000

As a crew member, you'll be primarily based out of your home as a part of our Dynamic Workplace strategy.
