Senior/Master Machinist

Overview: ECUTEC, located in Clover/Lake Wylie, is a leader in NDT testing equipment, calibration standards, machining and EDM services. We manufacture components for the NDT, heat exchanger, nuclear, aerospace industries, among others and export to over 50 countries.  We have very little production work, instead, focus on custom made components.  ECUTEC works only the day shift.  Due to growth, ECUTEC seeks a Senior/Master Machinist. 

Candidate: An ideal candidate will have expertise in manual lathe and mills or be able to G-Code complex CNC programs, or have expertise in EDM machining.   This is not a CNC operator position.

Responsibilities

•       Operate manual lathes and milling machines

•       Operate various EDM equipment (Sinker and wire EDM – will train)

•       Program and operate CNC milling machines and lathes

•       Technically coach machinists in training

•       Perform maintenance on equipment

•       Perform necessary tasks as needed in the shop

Optional Skills and Abilities

•       Experience with EDM Sinker, wire EDM and hole popper is preferred

•       Experience complex programing of CNC milling machines and lathes

•       Basic AutoCAD or Inventor would be a plus

•       Post processing experience with Mastercam, Fusion 360 or Esprit would be beneficial

•       Understanding of eddy current and UT methods a plus

•       Understanding of quality programs
