T-Rex Solutions is seeking a qualified Senior Windows Systems Administrator to support the Hill Component Enterprise Data Center IT Operations and Maintenance Services program located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah (HAFB). This program aims to modernize legacy USAF network infrastructure and migrate services into a new AWS Cloud Environment. For any candidates not already local to the Ogden, UT area, T-Rex is offering a relocation support package to assist with moving costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, administer, and ensure recoverability and adherence of Windows Server technical infrastructure and application environments.
  • Systems administration includes, but not limited to: support of both hardware and operating system; and maintenance of the applications running on the servers. Examples of these tasks includes, but not limited to: installing security patches; completing backups, completing system restoration; software installs and version upgrades; service account management; directory service administration; correction/recovery of corrupted files; and applying STIGs, SRGs, and IAVMs, etc.
  • Coordinate Web/Apache Administration tasks.
  • Develop and deploy administration support for, to include but not limited to: Automation, Scripting to provision, STIG remediation, for all Hill CEDC technology stacks.
  • Support transition from Windows Server 2012 to 2019

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or IT related field with five (5) or more years of experience in determining information technology effects on the organizational structure and determining the ability that IT can support/meet organizational goals. A Master's Degree and 3+ years of experience or a PhD and 0+ years of experience may be substituted.
  • Must possess an Interim or Active Secret Clearance
  • Must possess specific technical and functional expertise and knowledge of Administration of Windows server products, including Server 2012 and 2019

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $143,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
