Discovery Senior Living is hiring a Senior Web Developer to join our home office team.

Preferred location: Tampa, FL/surrounding area or Bonita Springs, FL/surrounding area.

The Senior Web Developer is responsible for leading the effort of developing front and backend solutions including website, landing pages and workflows on the HubSpot platform. This role is a key individual contributor involved with design, development, testing and deployment of websites on the HubSpot CMS and workflows/sequences within HubSpot, including integrations with CRM and other marketing-related systems for internal and external users. Must have expert-level ability to manage web development projects, connect technology with marketing, and create efficiencies for Digital Advertising, Communications and Operational functions. Acting as a strategic partner, this role will be required to help support the execution of marketing automation projects and the technology associated with individual community lead acquisition and qualification strategies. This cross-functional role is equally comfortable discussing marketing technology as well as the strategies and trends impacting their use.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Development

• Lead developer on HubSpot projects and day-to-day support.
• Make recommendations and develop best practices and strategies for marketing automation and website initiatives.
• Develop and implement websites, landing pages, processes, workflows, and sequences in HubSpot to maximize customer relationship management (CRM) systems and processes currently in place.
• Manage and support the technical infrastructure systems within HubSpot designed to populate information and content on websites.
• Implement CMS elements to allow for more streamlined website updates.
• Develop HubSpot-specific solutions and collaborate with HubSpot partner, marketing teammates, senior management, designers, and other project stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain other front-end applications outside of HubSpot, including WordPress CMS as it is phased out of use.
• Assist in application and system design as needed.
• HubSpot subject matter expert, super-user, and product advocate - actively participates in platforms' user forums/obtain certifications as needed.
• Manage lead and data processes within HubSpot; document, maintain, and test all solutions.
• Active contributor to web development best practices.

Maintenance & Support

• Manage both the processes and platforms of our support ticket system. Provide reports as required to Digital Project Lead and leadership.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to all stakeholders.
• Maintain consistent service turn-around times and ensure accuracy of completed projects.
• Perform website maintenance activities, troubleshooting of websites, improvements, functional optimizations, and development.
• Consistently test webpages across multiple browsers to ensure optimization and functionality.
• Oversee website security and stability; conduct updates as needed.
• Conduct analysis of website and application requirements; update and alter application features to enhance performance.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming, understanding of HubSpot CMS, WordPress CMS, and working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 to sites as needed.

• Configure internal marketing technology platforms like HubSpot and others as required.
• Support enhancement and data integration projects involving marketing platforms and data.
• Subject matter expert on the integration between HubSpot and our CRM.
• Monitor and maintain marketing data integrity between our marketing systems and CRM.
• Assess legacy and existing systems and processes to understand what needs to adapt to better fit our portfolio's needs.
• Technical documentation of processes and features.
• Coordinate DNS activities.
• Work with BI data analysts to support reporting efforts as needed.
• Understand business needs and translate the marketing vision and business requirements for new technology implementation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, marketing, communications, or business preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, web development, customer service and support.
• 10+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related technologies.
• 7+ years of experience with HubSpot CMS and WordPress; demonstrated ability to design and develop a website on these platforms.
• Domain expertise in UI/UX best practices.
• Experience developing Themes, Templates, Modules in a CMS system.
• Attention to detail and a good eye for modern web design.
• Knowledge of HubL Template Language, CMS Configuration, Setup and Maintenance preferred.
• Working knowledge of HubSpot CMS APIs preferred.
• Experience using HudDB, CRM and Custom Objects to create dynamic content a plus.
• Experience creating Modules that support personalized content a plus.
• HubSpot certified developer or equivalent experience a plus.
