The Partners Group currently has an exciting opportunity for a creative professional to join our Sales and Marketing team as a Senior Videographer and Editor based in our Portland, OR office.

How you will have an impact at TPG

The Senior Videographer and Editor will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing video for both internal and external purposes. This requires in-depth knowledge of video production and editing techniques, as well as the ability to take a video idea or script and execute the technical production of the concept with confidence, minimal oversight, and a love for their craft.

What a typical day in this role looks like:

  • Plan and execute diverse video shoots, involving interviews, corporate videos, and event recaps.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and storyboards for various video projects.
  • Craft compelling videos from both scripted and unscripted content, ensuring high-quality production.
  • Operate and maintain professional-grade video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
  • Edit and post-produce video content using industry-standard software, staying current with trends and technologies to ensure top-notch quality.

Key details

Location: Portland, Oregon; in-office with hybrid remote opportunities

Hours: 30 hours/week, Mon-Fri

Salary Range: $57,000-67,000 annually (DOE)

Physical Requirements: Physical ability to move and hold recording equipment for long periods; ability to perform seated sedentary work, typing, repetitive, small motor activity; grasping, stooping, reaching, standing, lifting objects less than 50lbs frequently, climbing occasionally.

Travel: Ability to travel locally with occasional overnight travel.

Requirements:

What you’ll bring to the table

  • At least 3-5 years of professional videography and editing experience, including proven work experience as a Videographer, Video Editor, or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Radio/TV, Film, Fine Arts of a related area
  • Portfolio demonstrating expertise in camera operation, lighting, sound, and modern editing techniques
  • Technical ability in standard videography and editing techniques (cinematography and lighting, audio recording and mixing, color correction and grading, camera operation and equipment maintenance, live event production, multi-camera setups)
  • Advanced knowledge of video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro)
  • Strong communication skills (visual, written, and verbal) and able to interpret complex information
  • Developing leadership skills, problem resolution abilities, and good judgment
  • A love for storytelling and the craft of videography
