Senior Vdc Engineer

Slayden Constructors Inc. (SCI), a wholly owned subsidiary of MWH Constructors, Inc. (MWH), is currently seeking a Senior VDC Engineer to join our Digital Delivery team in Salem, OR.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate Projects by creating 3D models on project sites.
• Organize subcontractor modeling information.
• Work along side Project and Construction Managers providing access, visibility, and training on use of Digital Tools for project success.
• Conduct clash detection and model coordination meetings on project sites.
• Create augmented reality and virtual reality visualization for construction sites and client meetings.
• Support bids creating 4D visualizations.

Salary

• Depending on previous years of experience, salary range for this position is $111,232 - $145,000 per year

Work Schedule

40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience.
• Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience with the following: Utilizing Synchro 4D BIM software in the AEC (Architect Engineer Construction) sector; Utilizing Autodesk-based Building information and modeling (BIM) toolsets and work practices including Revit and Navisworks; and Utilizing the following tools: Autodesk BIM 360 mobile applications, Autodesk Civil3D, Autodesk infraworks software programs, SketchUp modeling software, and CMiC construction management software.
• Telecommuting permitted 5 days a week.
• Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 30%.
