Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation of Traffic Impact, VMT and Parking Impact Analyses, including adherence to project schedules and budget
• Prepare technical traffic and parking analyses using Vistro, Synchro, TransCAD, AutoCAD and other software as needed
• Research and interpret applicable policies, guidelines, and technical methodologies as part of the preparation of technical traffic analyses
• Train junior staff in the preparation of technical analysis such as trip generation, VMT screening, LOS analysis, and other tasks necessary to complete technical traffic analyses
• Research and interpret roadway standards and site design standards. Apply standards as necessary to prepare roadway signing and striping plans and truck turning templates
• Maintain consistent communications with internal and external stakeholders and clients
• Perform GIS analysis, queries, searches, and data manipulation. This would also require maintenance of geographic databases and review of GIS data supplied by others

Qualifications:
− Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years relevant full-time work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
− Experience with transportation analysis software including Synchro, PTV Vistro, Traffix, AutoCAD, ESRI ArcGIS, and/or TransCAD required for position
