External Description
Audubon is currently seeking a Senior UI/UX Product Designer to join our team. The Senior UI/UX Product Designer will be responsible for designing, writing, and maintain C# coding for our future and ongoing projects. The Senior UI/UX Product Designer will also be required to contribute to design and planning sessions as well as formulate approaches for current coding tasks.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches.
- Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes.
- Familiarity with OWASP top 10 techniques to secure code from vulnerabilities.
- Maintain awareness of industry best practices for data maintenance handling as it relates to your role.
- Adhere to policies, guidelines and procedures pertaining to the protection of information assets.
- Report actual or suspected security and/or policy violations/breaches to an appropriate authority.
- Create UX documentation (task-flows, scenarios and wireframes) to communicate concepts and designs to the team.
- Create UI artifacts (Hi-fidelity Figma files, prototypes and user interaction specifications) for handoff to development and engineering.
- Propose and participate in user research, usability validation, and A/B testing.
- Collaborate with other team members, including Designers, Product Managers, Project Managers, Content Strategists, and Developers to bring your solutions to life.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years' of experience designing consumer and mobile products.
- Experience with user testing.
- Familiar with UX/UI best practices.
- Required: Proficient in Figma for the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Required: understand CSS basics.
- Comfortable acting as a lead, directing the work of third-party designers as needed.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- BA in UX design, UI design, graphic design, or related field preferred; Master’s degree in the same fields is ideal.
