Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a Senior Transportation Engineer in our Charleston, WV office!
Key Responsibilities
- Project management of WVDOT-DOH projects
- Leading the preparation of transportation design plans/3D modeling for WVDOH transportation and/or municipal utility projects utilizing MicroStation and OpenRoads design software
- Performing and checking various design calculations
- Performing various tasks as they relate to preparing a design package (WVDOH Initial Engineering, Preliminary Engineering, and Final Design submissions, special provision development, estimates, RID packages, etc.) for milestone submittals to clients
- Providing technical expertise/guidance to junior staff
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar field of study
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of West Virginia (or other state with the ability to obtain registration in West Virginia upon employment) is required
- 7+ years’ experience in the transportation and municipal utility sectors
- WVDOH transportation experience preferred.
Pay & Benefits
Salary Range: $120000 - 140000
