We are looking for a Senior Traffic Signal Technician to join the City of Charleston's Traffic & Transportation Department! In this role, you will run overhead and underground cable, install Traffic Signals, and perform required maintenance.

Examples of Duties
- Installs, maintains & repairs overhead and underground cables.
- Installs, maintains & repairs Traffic Signals.
- Inspects the working conditions of trucks.
- Performs preventative maintenance on all signals.
- Makes sure all signals are communicating properly and lenses are clean and visible.
- Performs work from bucket truck or platform truck.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Associate's degree (AA/AS) and 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to obtain CDL permit within six months of employment and CDL license within one year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
