The Company

 

Common Securitization Solutions (CSS) is seeking an experienced Senior Third Party Risk Analyst to join our team of talented professional. This is a remote opportunity. 

 

CSS built and operates the largest and most advanced mortgage securitization platform in the world, supporting the Uniform Mortgage-Backed Security (UMBS) of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Job Information

The Senior Third Party Risk Analyst will be responsible for identifying, assessing, tracking/monitoring, and reporting on third-Party Risk for the organization. This individual must ensure that the organization's third-party supplier portfolio is accurately assessed, monitored, and reported on in a timely manner, to manage risk impacts to CSS and our clients.

Key Job Functions

 

  • Actively manage the third-party supplier and fourth-party sub-servicer portfolio through periodic third-party inherent and residual risk assessments, third-party/fourth-Party Risk profile updates, and related Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program activities.
  • Perform ongoing identification, monitoring, and reporting on the current third-Party Risk landscape, including key and emerging risks with actual and/or potential impacts on CSS' third-party / fourth party supplier portfolio.
  • Analysis of CSS' third-party supplier risk management portfolio, and preparation of periodic TPR reports at the granular and aggregate level for TPR and Enterprise Risk Management, relationship business owners, governance committees, and the BoM.
  • Development/Implementation support of the GRC Third-Party Risk management module/tool, to ensure completion of comprehensive, timely, and accurate TPR assessments and related information.
  • Active participation in the development, maturation, and maintenance of the Third-Party Risk Management Program, including the TPR policy, risk appetite, and related metrics.
  • Act as a third-Party Risk subject matter expert, providing second line of defense (SLOD) guidance, review/credible challenge, and related support to the third-party supplier relationship owners, and other corporate stakeholders, regarding the third-Party Risk program, assessment process(es) and responsibilities, monitoring/tracking, and related reporting.
  • Research, monitor, and maintain awareness and applicability of regulatory guidelines/guidance, and rules (i.e., Interagency Guidance on Third-Party relationships, etc.,) relative to CSS' third-party/fourth-party supplier portfolio.
  • Escalate material issues and risks to third-Party Risk and enterprise risk management, and the appropriate corporate stakeholders, as necessary.
  • Support and collaborate with other corporate stakeholders (i.e., Procurement, Compliance-Privacy, IT/IS, and Finance) to ensure maintenance of an E2E third-Party Risk management program; and alignment to the business partners' related policies and/or programs, as necessary.
  • Provide third-Party Risk data/responses and participate in related meetings relative to regulatory, GSE, and/or internal audit requests or exams, as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education   

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college/university, is required.

 

Minimum Experience  

  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in executing Third-Party Risk Management responsibilities/functions, as noted.
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in Information Security, Operational Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management, and/or Procurement, is a plus
  • Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) designation, is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing GRC tools to assess, manage, track, and report on third-Party Risk, is preferred.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. CSS does not offer H-1B sponsorship for this position.

 

Specialized Knowledge & Skills     

  • Solid understanding of the functions of an effective third-Party Risk and related procurement systems and/or processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective collaboration and negotiation skills, including willingness to support and foster a team culture.
  • Knowledgeable in the usage and functionality of various tools including, but not limited to the following: Microsoft Office Products, i.e.,   Outlook - Advanced User; Word - Advanced User; Excel - Moderate User; Visio and PowerBI - Moderate User; ServiceNOW, and others.

Pay Range $141,750 to $158,000

CSS's pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.  CSS offers a competitive total compensation package, which includes a performance bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage, PTO, and a broad range of other benefits.
