- Direct-hire full-time position
- Work on-site in the company’s Omaha, NE office and travel across the US & Canada for customer installations.
- $77000 - $90000 / year salary based on skills and experience.
- Chance to become a subject matter expert (SME) in network and system technology.
- Involvement in advanced network design and troubleshooting.
DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred and/or 4-6 years of professional IT experience.
- Relevant certifications such as A+, Network+, CCENT, CCNA, or Microsoft.
- Strong knowledge of networking and PC systems.
- Experience with Windows Server and TCP/IP networking.
- Cisco ASA firewall configuration and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with LAN, WAN, and cellular networks.
- Understanding of system and network security concepts.
- Competency in problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication.
- Willingness to travel with potential short-notice
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Technology Management Systems.
- Ensure compliance with certification requirements.
- Act as a subject matter expert in various IT domains.
- Design, configure, and support complex technology management systems.
- Provide expertise in network communications and telecommunications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 technical issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project-related matters.
- Gather requirements and create network architecture designs.
- Manage COTS hardware and software, offering lifecycle analysis.
- Share best practices for system security, availability, and performance.
- Deliver technical presentations and documentation.
- Be ready for potential changes in duties and responsibilities.
- Travel occasionally, depending on company needs (20%-70%).
