Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
Understands technical aspects of the job. Keeps knowledge up-to-date, is a technical resource for others, follows technology practices and standards. Expert in LabVIEW, C/C++, proficient in MS SQL Server. Altium or Allegro Cadence will be a plus. Solid knowledge/experience with RF based products in production environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop, commercialize and support the field and customer introduction of new products and systems.
Ensure that projects are planned and executed in a timely and efficient manner.
Evaluate market opportunities in area of competence and proposes solutions.
Plan and coordinate own research and engineering projects along with the research of others.
Maintain extensive client contacts and continuously assesses their needs and propose solutions.
Direct the work of other Engineers and Technical Support Staff.
Understand business objectives linked to the development and application of technology.
Serve as technical interface between Schlumberger, academia and industry consortia.
Publish documents, make presentations and participate in technical audits.
Comply with applicable company policies.
(1.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions (2.) To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity (3.) TO ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview. (4.) To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
