Responsibilities:
REI Systems is looking for a Solution Architect (Master) to provide technical leadership and management of a complex program.

Responsible for driving multiple customer solution design projects in parallel; conducts business and technical analysis with customers; develop and tailor novel solutions, architectures and use cases to help customers meet their objectives and reduce technical debt; provides robust recommendations for engagements while also identifying critical dependencies and gaps.
Presents proposals to senior government officials or technical governance board in a clear and compelling way; has a balance of business and technology acumen, including ability to articulate high- level technical solutions to business problems and to tie solutions to program success criteria. Capable of independently applying a wide set of engineering disciplines for planning, design, analysis, coding, testing, roll-out and support of information systems architectures. Responsible for, or assists in, the designing of interface standards, quality assurance standards, performance standards, and cost-benefit analysis of modem state-of-the art information systems; analyzes available technologies and makes recommendations of technologies to use and how best to use them.
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of comprehensive experience in architecting sustainable enterprise scale architectures, cloud applications and solutions, enterprise systems modernization, cloud-native architectures, microservices architecture and containerized applications
  • Proven Experience in leading and guiding multiple technical and engineering teams to provide technical guidance and overall solution standards.
  • Experience in building applications in service-oriented architecture, as composition of decoupled services and independently deployable units using micro services, and/or Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) at an enterprise scale.
  • 8+ years’ experience in one or more architecture domains (e.g. business architecture, solutions architecture, application architecture, security architecture, data architecture). Experience in building target architecture for legacy application modernization and transformation roadmaps for large scale applications.
  • Design cloud architecture including the design and integration of cloud services that run on AWS cloud, based on the AWS well-architected framework. Extensive experience in using major cloud platforms (AWS preferred) to build, design, architect, deploy cloud native applications.
  • Extensive experience in technical roadmap management, developing proof of concept or minimum value product (MVP) based on current and emerging technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in one or more current programming languages (E.g. - Java, Javascript/AngularJS, Node JS etc.) to set up coding standard and reviews across multiple domains.
  • Advise on the best forms of developing containerized applications, familiar with containerization platforms and technologies (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
  • Leading and driving SecDevOps best practices, CI/CD automation
  • Experience in developing concept of operations (ConOps) and technical proposals.
  • Self-driven problem solver, with minimum supervision
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Prefer to have knowledge in federal acquisition systems and processes.
