What we do
After launching our Tech Sourcing function in 2021, it helped us transform both the hiring process and the pace at which we have been hiring technical talent here at TTD. This role will be focused on growing high-quality top-of-funnel activity. We have built a strong global Engineering presence and we're continuing to level-up. In 2023, we plan to grow the international R&D function significantly, looking to invest in engaging the top 0.1% of passive talent through practical and creative sourcing strategies. This role will focus on driving top-of-funnel activity for our NAMER R&D roles.
The role will be based out of our LA office, with a hybrid working structure (3 days a week in office)
What you'll do
Partner closely with Hiring Managers, Recruiters and other Sourcers, in order to deeply understand the requirements of the role, team and how it fits together within the wider organisation
Provide innovative and scalable sourcing solutions to help drive a pipeline of talent to meet our hiring needs
Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of your toolkit of sourcing techniques and open-source communities
Review profiles/CV's and interview potential candidates to assess suitability
Use Data and Market Intelligence to influence your stakeholders, as well as the overall sourcing/hiring strategy
Support the development of this function globally by partnering with other Recruiters and Sourcers to share best practice and develop new ways of doing things
Who you are
Ideally 5yrs+ experience sourcing for Software Engineering roles
Experience working as a Sourcer in-house for a Technology led company or gained relevant experience from an Agency where you had to spend a lot of time finding exceptional candidates
Deep knowledge of the regional and global talent market for technical talent, with a focus on Software Development and/or Data Science
Proven experience developing and executing sourcing strategies from scratch
Demonstrated track record of building relationships with Hiring Managers and other Cross-functional partners

At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$83,000 -$152,100In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
